In my own work as a non-profit Board President, I get to improve the civility of how people interact, and continually reinforce group norms around civility. How detailed did you get in terms of time frame, money, responsibility, authority, impact, and expectations?

 

NOT having this conversation frequently is a recipe for the turnover of your best performers. Top talent wants to know what the future looks like - not platitudes and generic phrases - but hardcore specific time frames and expectations.
